Not done yet! Nick Young told Us Weekly exclusively that he and his girlfriend, Keonna Green, want to have another kid together.
“One more,” the Denver Nuggets player, 33, who shares Nick Jr., 6, and Navi, 2, with Green, 29, admitted to Us at the Captain Marvel world premiere on Monday, March 4.
Young also revealed that “being [Nick Jr.’s] best friend” is his favorite part of fatherhood. “That’s like the best thing ever,” he said. “Just being home and seeing them grow up, you know? The other day, I saw him … buy a Valentine’s gift for somebody. I thought that was the best thing.”
The athlete and his girlfriend, who started dating in high school, welcomed Nick Jr in 2012. His little sister, Navi, arrived in 2016.
News broke that the Los Angeles native was expecting a second child with Green when the NBA player was still engaged to Iggy Azalea. He and the rapper, 28, split after his cheating scandal.
“I wish [Azalea] a lifetime of success. I’m definitely not going to apologize for being in love with a man who I have a lot of history with,” Green told Us exclusively at the time. “I do wish her that kind of success and hope that she can get through this difficult time and she and Nick can move forward from this.”
Green and Young want to add more babies to their brood and have already mastered the secret to getting alone time and keeping their romance alive.
“We drop them off at the grandparents,” the NBA championship winner told Us on Monday. “We try to plan at least one day a week. The rest is for them.”
So what do these two do with their time away from Nick Jr. and Navi? “Just dinner,” Young said. “We try not to see all kids movies [and] … see some stuff for us. [We] take a Saturday off for us, or a Sunday.”
