When it comes to raising a child, everyone has an opinion on the right and wrong way to do it.
But at the end of the day, it’s the parent that knows what’s best for their baby.
However one mum is struggling to remain confident about her parenting decisions after being shamed by others about the size of her baby’s legs.
And after putting up with the cruel comments for as long as she possibly can, she is now seeking advice online.
The stressed out mother shared a photo of her six-month-old daughter in a parenting forum and asked others whether or not they thought the legs were "too fat".
In a post on MumsNet , she wrote: "Everyone always comments on her legs and how fat they are and it’s getting to me. For example someone said yesterday ‘bloody hell how much are you feeding her?’
"For reference she has less than the average amount of formula and never finishes a bottle.
"She also only started weaning last week and has so far only had fruit, veg and Weetabix. Am I doing something wrong?"
Other mums on the site were horrified to discover people had been so cruel about the baby, and reassured her that there was nothing wrong with the small child.
One said: "They’re fine and your acquaintances are being rude. My son’s legs and arms and face were MUCH chubbier than this and he is now a very lean and healthy young man."
Another wrote: "Your baby is fine. Ignore idiots with their stupid comments."
"My son was just the same. I loved his little rolls of fat on his legs. Once they start crawling around and then walking, it all comes off. I was always glad of his ‘extra padding’ whenever he was sick and off his food cos he had some reserves on him," commented a third.

A fourth added: "They look fine – gorgeous in fact! We love the fact that babies are chubby: that’s why everyone comments! Enjoy squishing those legs and pretending to eat them and all the crazy things we do with adorable babies because very soon they will be like two little sticks running around and you’ll wonder where your baby went!"
However not everyone thought it was sensible for the mum to be posting such things.
"It’s probably not the best idea to post pictures of her online for randomers to pass judgement on," wrote one mum and instead suggested she speak to a health visitor if she had concerns.
