Lily Aldridge has walked in countless shows. But the model, who is five months pregnant, will never forget strutting down the Brandon Maxwell runway at New York Fashion Week on Saturday, September 8, with her baby bump on full display in a clingy red gown.
The 32-year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel, who shares daughter, Dixie, 6, with husband Caleb Followill, noted in a lengthy Instagram post on Sunday that it was a moment she would “look back on forever with great emotion.” Aldridge added in her caption that backstage, “everyone was so uplifting and rubbing my belly celebrating this beautiful journey with me.”
One day before stealing the show, the 5-foot-9 stunner opened up about baby No. 2 to Us Weekly. (Though Aldridge and the Kings of Leon frontman know the sex of their second child, they are keeping it a secret for a bit longer.) “I feel so good,” gushed the California native. “I feel really great.”
To prep Dixie for her sibling, Aldridge and Followill, 36, gifted the little girl a doll. “She carries it around,” Aldridge revealed to Us. “She’s going to be an amazing sister.”
Meanwhile, there’s a good chance Followill pampered his wife of seven years after she walked the Brandon Maxwell show in towering stilettos. “I keep getting nice back massages, foot massages,” she told Us. “It’s very nice being pregnant!”
The couple announced last month that they are expanding their family. “Surprise!” Aldridge captioned an a bikini pic on Instagram that showed off her baby bump, they tied the knot in March 2011.
