Model Elsa Hosk Says She 'Didn't Struggle' with Pregnancy Body Changes: 'I Kinda Loved It'

Elsa Hosk's first pregnancy has been smoother than anticipated.

The 32-year-old Victoria Secret Angel — who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tom Daly — opened up about her experiences on her Instagram Story, answering true/false prompts from her followers. Sharing a black-and-white photo of her baby bump, she says it's true she's had an "easy pregnancy" so far.

"I think I expected a nightmare pregnancy but I didn't have morning sickness or any pain anywhere," Hosk writes. "I also didn't struggle with my body changing as much as I thought I would. I kinda loved it!"

"I also think it was the first time in my adult life where I didn't have much work related stress or traveling and that was great for my body," she adds.

Hosk also says she "gained more than the 'recommended' for my weight" but she's "not worried about it!" She continues, "It's what my body needed to have a healthy pregnancy :)"

As for her lifestyle changes since becoming pregnant, Hosk says she ditched vaping and hopes to have cut the habit for good. "I used to smoke then quit that for the vape and then [I] quit that when I got pregnant! I hope I never pick it up again."

Elsa Hosk Shows Off Baby Bump as She Says She's 'a Few Weeks from Giving Birth'

Elsewhere in the Instagram Story session, Hosk reveals she's planning on a home birth, particularly a hypno-birth and water birth setup. "That's the plan," she says, adding in another slide that she "can't wait to tell you about" the birth.

Hinting at possible names for her daughter on the way, the model says they "are naming her a Finnish name," not a Swedish moniker. Hosk also admits her initial fears in expecting a baby girl. "I was more scared to have a girl knowing myself," she jokes.

On New Year's Eve, Hosk reflected on 2020 and her decision to expand her family after "the world turned upside down."

"This year brought more change than I thought I could handle… the world turned upside down and we were uncertain, scared, we suffered loss, we learned about each other more than ever even though we couldn't see each other," she wrote on Instagram. "the silver lining in all of it for me was having the time and silence to reflect and find out what was truly in my heart. We decided to have a baby. I sold my apartment in NYC. Bought the house of my dreams and moved across the country to LA."

"Here I am a few weeks from giving birth and feeling grateful for the pain, stress, change and fear because out of it came something so positive and made me stronger," added Hosk at the time. "Kinda glad 2020 is over though…. Happy new year to all of you- Here's to a less crazy 2021."
