Christy Carlson Romano and husband Brendan Rooney welcomed their second daughter on Feb. 18, making 2-year-old Isabella Victoria a big sister.
“We’re stunned by how beautiful and Zen-like Sophia is,” Romano tells PEOPLE exclusively for this week’s issue, out Friday, sharing the first photo of baby Sophia’s adorable face.
“Izzy is already so in love with her baby sister,” adds the Disney Channel alum, 34. “We can’t wait to watch them grow to become best friends.”
A rep for Romano confirmed her second child’s birth exclusively to PEOPLE on Feb. 20, sharing that the newborn arrived at 1:27 p.m. on Feb. 18, weighing 7 lbs., 2 oz.
“Between moving to a new home, walking the Kim Possible red carpet in 6-inch heels, 4 cm dilated, and a stomach flu that hit the whole house 24 hours before I delivered, labor with this little angel was like a vacation!” the former Kim Possible voice actress joked to PEOPLE at the time.

Christy Carlson Romano Threw Her 2-Year-Old Daughter an Epic Winnie-the-Pooh Birthday Party
Romano — who voiced Trina in the first season of Big Hero 6: The Series and is also known for her role on Even Stevens, as well as her 2004 turn as Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast on Broadway — revealed her pregnancy news exclusively to PEOPLE in August.
“I always wanted two kids and I feel so blessed to have this experience again,” said the star, sharing photos from a sweet maternity session starring the couple and daughter Izzy. “My husband and I are overjoyed that our little girl is going to have a sibling.”
Months later, the couple confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively that they were expecting another girl, sharing a photo from their explosive sex reveal.
“It was so much fun to find out that Izzy is going to have a little sister,” Romano told PEOPLE. “We are going to raise both our daughters to believe that they can do anything!”
Following Sophia’s birth, Romano took to Instagram to share a PEOPLE-exclusive photograph of her tiny feet, writing in a sweet note addressed to the new arrival, “@thebrendanrooney @isabellavrooney and I love you infinitely.”
“We are already marveling at your grace and beauty, just like when your sister was born,” she added. “We cannot wait to watch our bright shining stars journey down the path of sisterhood together ⭐️⭐️”
