Married at First Sight's Sam and Chris Welcome Daughter

Married at First Sight alum Sam Role and her fiancé Chris Wise have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Isabella, Us Weekly can confirm.

The reality TV personality, 33, tweeted on Tuesday, September 18, “Im so excited to welcome Isabella to the world!! I’ve never loved someone so much. #MommyLifeIsTheBest #WhatsSleep.”

Role announced she was expecting in March of this year on Instagram with a photo of Wise cradling her baby bump. She captioned it, “This just in… I ate a watermelon seed and then this happened… lol jk #CantWaitToBeAMom.” Role documented her pregnancy journey via her social media accounts by posting various shots of her growing belly. She also shared a hilarious Instagram post in early August that showed the mommy-to-be with “an eviction notice” on her bump, urging her child to “vacate the premises.”

The exciting news of her pregnancy came just two months after she revealed on Instagram that she and Wise had gotten engaged. “I flew to #ATL this weekend to celebrate @chrisw1687 birthday,” Role captioned a shot of the happy couple. “Not only did I get to spend time with him, but HE PROPOSED! #ISaidYes.”

Role’s short-lived relationship with ex-husband Neil Bowlus was featured on season 3 of Married at First Sight. The former flames married in 2015 after meeting one another on the popular Lifetime series, but Bowlus later opted to get a divorce during the “Decision Day” episode in 2016. At the time, Role told Us Weekly that she was “extremely surprised in Neil’s decision,” but admitted, “My gut told me something wasn’t right. I didn’t want to believe it.”

However, the exes remain friendly, with Bowlus congratulating his ex-wife on her pregnancy in March on Twitter. “Super excited for you and the family!! You will be a great momma,” he wrote. “If it’s a boy I am formerly submitting the name Corneilius (Neil for short) for consideration” with a grinning-face emoji. Role responded, “Corneilius Wise sounds strong! @Neil_MAFS Thank you for the best wishes!” before noting that he would always be her “homie.”

Married at First Sight (produced by Kinetic Content) airs on Lifetime Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
