“We had a full bartender,” the Extra host, 44, exclusively told Us Weekly. “The thing about Mexican birthday parties for kids is they turn into adult parties real quick!”

For the jungle-inspired backyard celebration, Lopez and Courtney, 35, set up an obstacle course and brought in a very gentle python. “The snake was a big hit,” the Saved by the Bell alum raved to Us. “We were taking pictures with the snake. It was great to see my son not be afraid.” Other highlights: a face painting table and 10-year-old DJ Livia, who kept revelers on their feet. (She also performed at North West and Penelope Disick’s shindig in June.)

“I loved seeing all the kids dancing with the music,” Lopez told Us.

All guests were treated to catering from Italian restaurant Buca di Beppo and sweets from a Cool Haus ice cream truck. And at the end of the day, everyone took home personalized gift bags courtesy of Mabel’s Labels.

“It was so much fun,” gushed the actor, who added: “It’s going to take me a little while to recuperate.”

Lopez and his wife of five years are raising good humans. In lieu of gifts, the children asked that well-wishers donate to Jameson’s Army, a charity that raises funding for children and families affected by congenital heart defects.
