LeAnn Rimes, Brandi Glanville & Eddie Cibrian Have Most Awkward Easter Ever

You have to love anyone who posts their #awkward family holiday card on social media for all to see. LeAnn Rimes had the awkwardest Easter ever with the photographic evidence to back it up. The country singer and actor took to Twitter and Instagram to share an Easter portrait featuring her husband, Eddie Cibrian, his ex-wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville, and Cibrian and Glanville’s sons, Mason, 15, and Jake, 12.

“Happy Easter LovEs! Our awkward family Easter [chick emoji] photo/Christmas card?! LOL … Today has been a wonderful day. Many blessings to your family from all of us! #easter @EddieCibrian @brandiglanville,” Rimes captioned the cute but definitely stilted shot.

Rimes and Glanville were public enemies after Cibrian left Glanville in 2010 after almost a decade of marriage when he met Rimes and fell in love with her on the set of the 2009 TV movie Northern Lights. Gulp. It was a hot, hot mess for a long time until Glanville announced via tweet in April 2018 that she and Rimes and Cibrian had all made peace. The Drinking & Dating author said that the trio “sat and talked for hours … hashed everything out and the feud … is over! They will not be getting rid of me on any holidays.”

In 2016 Glanville told Nik Ritchie on Podcast One, “I have an issue with [Rimes] posting pictures of my children on holidays. It’s horrible. If my ex-husband, if their dad isn’t posting pictures, why is she?”

Glanville continued, “[I] get that vodka out. I’ll grab three bottles of Chardonnay, cry myself to sleep and look at what they’re doing for Christmas. It’s hell. I told her, I said, “It doesn’t make me mad, It hurts my feelings. I’m missing half their life as it is.”

Looks like Glanville has made good on her promise to spend holidays with her ex and Rimes. We might suggest keeping gatherings booze-free, though? On April 15 Glanville addressed some less-than-flattering drunken pictures and video taken of her on a tipsy night out — and she explained the emotions behind the incident.

It seems to us that Glanville still might be less than okay with the co-parenting situation — something we understand for sure. But kudos to everybody for trying to have a nice Easter for the kids, awkward or not.
