Almost time! Lauren Burnham and Arie Luyendyk Jr. are about to become parents, sharing pics from the hospital ahead of their baby’s birth.
“Is it time yet? #39weekspregnant,” the couple captioned a photo of the pregnant reality star, 27, in a green hospital gown and sandals on their baby-to-be’s Instagram account on Wednesday, May 29. She cradled her baby bump with one hand and held a cup of water in the other.
The Bachelor alum went on to share more shots of the labor experience with their followers and the race car driver, 37, gave fans “a little update” at 5 a.m.
“@laureneburnham just received an epidural,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “She is doing great and everything is going smoothly. We are going to try and catch a little sleep and hopefully we will meet our baby soon!”
Us Weekly broke the news in November 2018 that the members of Bachelor Nation have their first child on the way. “We weren’t trying, but we are so excited,” the dad-to-be told Us exclusively at the time. “It’s going to be a whole new chapter in our lives.”
In January, the couple told Us that they are expecting a baby girl. “I have a little brother, and he’s so sweet and I love him to death, but sometimes I don’t really understand why he acts that way he does,” Burnham told Us. “I’m feeling a lot more confident in being able to be a girl mom first!”
She and the athlete tied the knot at the Haiku Mill in Maui that same month. “Everything that I imagined, it was that and 10 times better,” the real estate agent told Us exclusively about the ceremony.
