Kylie Jenner: I Changed Stormi’s Name at the Last Minute

Apparently naming a Kardashian-Jenner baby is harder than it seems! Kylie Jenner revealed how she chose daughter Stormi’s moniker and why she tweaked it at the last minute.

“I was just looking on nature names, like weather-earth inspired. Storm was on there, but I was like, ‘I kind of want an ‘ie’ like me.’ So then I did ‘Stormie,’” Jenner, 21, explained to YouTuber James Charles in a video posted on Tuesday, October 9. “It was always Stormie … and then I didn’t fully choose her name. I wanted to have like a week of just me and her to see if I wanted to change it.”

However, the Kylie Cosmetics founder made a tiny switcheroo in the nick of time. “When they called me from the birth certificate office and I was finalizing the name, I was like, ‘S-t-o-r-m-i,’” she recalled. “Literally, right then and there I just changed it to an ‘i.’ And they were like, ‘OK.’ I hung up the phone and I was like, ‘Damn, I guess that’s her name!’”

Jenner claimed the moniker was her idea despite boyfriend Travis Scott’s assertions that he came up with it. “It was me!” she insisted. “I remember the whole thing but he swears he made her name up.”

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also shared which of her siblings 8-month-old Stormi is most like. “She’s just changing every day. She’s really just becoming a little person,” she noted. “She reminds me a lot of Kendall [Jenner].”

A source exclusively revealed in the new issue of Us Weekly that Jenner and Scott, 26, are “actively trying for another” child. The couple welcomed Stormi in February after a very hush-hush pregnancy.

“I do want to have more,” the reality star told Charles, pointing out that she wants a big family. “But when is the question. … Like, I want seven girls and then, like, maybe I’ll consider a boy.”
