Kim Kardashian knew the mommy-shamers would pounce when she posted an Instagram photo of her 2-year-old son Saint sucking on a blue object. That’s why the reality star, 37, added a disclaimer. “It’s not a pacifier,” she wrote on Monday, October 15. “He’s eating candy!”
In the snap, the KKW Beauty founder holds hands with Saint while carrying 5-month-old daughter Chicago. Kardashian and husband Kanye West are currently visiting Uganda with their eldest child, North, 5.
The E! personality is no stranger to be being judged online for her parenting decisions. In July, she was criticized for straightening North’s hair. One month later, she received backlash from her more conservative fans for allowing the little girl to wear a bikini.
Kardashian occasionally claps back, but more often than not, she lets the comments roll off her back. “I always think, ‘Will I be affected by this tomorrow? Will I be affected by it in a week? Will I be affected by it in a month, and in a year?’” she revealed in a video posted on Twitter in 2016. “And usually, the answer is no.”
Back in August, Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, raved to Us Weekly about how her daughter seamlessly juggles all her responsibilities. “Kim is the energizer bunny,” Jenner gushed. “I don’t know where she gets her energy, but she’s non-stop. Once she puts the kids to bed, she’s still working, and I think that’s how everything gets done.”
