Khloe Kardashian Says People Are ‘Fascinated’ By How She Changes Daughter True’s Diaper with Long Nails

Khloe Kardashian’s fingernails are in the spotlight (again) after The Late Late Show host James Corden questioned how the reality star manages to change 3-year-old daughter True Thompson’s diapers.

On a recent episode of the late-night talk show, Corden asked Kardashian how she pulls off mom duty with her extra-long nails, grabbing her hand to examine her manicure. “Oh my god — look at these nails,” he exclaimed. “…Are they always that sharp?”

“Everyone is so fascinated by the length of my nails,” Kardashian, who is hosting the national Candy Crush All Stars competition, said referring to her nails as “talons.”

Corden then asked how Kardashian changes her daughter’s diaper, a subject she admitted was “fascinating to most people at first” although her nails were previously square compared to her rounded look. “And the same way I can, you know, groom myself, I can groom another person,” she said.

The question isn’t a new one as Kardashian has previously been mom-shamed for her long nails. In 2019, she wrote on Twitter, “It’s annoying when people talk about my nails. Trust me, I manage just fine. The same way I take care of myself, I take care of my baby. There are more serious things to discuss. At least I would hope. happy Monday to you.” According to People, the Good American founder was replying to social media users who claimed her long nails were inappropriate for a mom.

Earlier in 2019, Kardashian’s parenting skills were called into question again after she posted a close-up of her signature look —extra-long red acrylics— on Instagram. Nasty comments started rolling in from those who claimed the aesthetic was a sign she didn’t really care for her daughter or could accidentally scratch the infant.

Here’s hoping Kardashian’s appearance on The Late Late Show puts to rest any further questions, comments, or assertions about her ability to be a good parent because of the length of her nails.

These are some of the reality-TV alumnae we love to follow as they tackle motherhood.
