Keyshia Cole Is Not Pregnant, Apologizes for ‘Trolling’

Just kidding! Keyshia Cole clarified via Instagram on Friday, July 6, that she is not expecting her second child.

“I KINDA APOLOGIZE for #TROLLING yesterday, telling y’all I was ##Preggo !!!! Buuuuuuut y’all need to stop body shamming me and sayin I’m PREGNANT EVERY OTHER DAY !!!!” she captioned a photo of herself laughing. “Like seriously, it hurts my feelings … thought it was sweet that you all were excited about the news tho.”

The 36-year-old “Heaven Sent” singer sparked pregnancy rumors when she posted what appeared to be an announcement on Wednesday, July 4. “#PregnantInMyFashionNovaFit,” she captioned a photo of herself wearing a snakeskin, curve-hugging outfit. “#CongradulationsAreInOrder.”

Cole’s boyfriend, Niko Khale, fueled speculation when he gave Wednesday’s post a “like.” Later that day, the 22-year-old rapper shared a selfie with his love on the beach. He captioned it: “jus livin our best lives.”

In a second post, the couple were seen sitting on top of water skis with Cole’s 8-year-old son, Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr., in the middle. “Happy 4th yalll!,” Khale wrote alongside the pic, in which they were all rocking American flag life vests. “We lightin up the sky tonight.”

Though no baby bump was seen in either of the photos, followers shared their well wishes with the pair at the time.
