Kenya Moore Rocks a Bikini in Honor of Her 48th Birthday — 11 Weeks After Giving Birth

Kenya Moore is serving some realness.

In honor of her 48th birthday on Thursday, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared a sunny snapshot of herself holding her daughter Brooklyn Doris, 11 weeks, while sporting some seriously sexy swimwear.

Dressed in a white bikini, the star walks along the shoreline with her baby girl, throwing a smile at the camera as she pushes her hair from her face.

Baby Brooklyn looks adorable in her mama’s arms, staying cool in a pink-and-blue beach-appropriate outfit and pink floppy hat to protect her from the sun.

Moore was candid throughout her pregnancy about how expecting a child changed her physique.

In September, she shared a photo of herself wearing a figure-fitting red, knee-length tank top dress with sandals and revealed in the comments section that her “legs booty and boobs” were “way bigger” and that she weighed 200 lbs.

The following month, Moore revealed via Instagram that she had “gained 17 lbs. in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure and excess protein in urine.”

Her sudden weight gain was attributed to possible preeclampsia — a potentially dangerous pregnancy complication that, according to the Mayo Clinic, is “characterized by high blood pressure and signs of damage to another organ system, most often the liver and kidneys.”

The former Miss USA and husband Marc Daly welcomed Brooklyn, their first child together, on Nov. 4, after a high-risk pregnancy that included multiple health scares and led to an emergency cesarean section.

But despite the difficulties, Moore and Daly aren’t necessarily done expanding their family.

“I don’t know if my body can do it, but we would love to have one more,” she shared exclusively with PEOPLE in December. “I want a little boy!”
