Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are like every parent right now – crying as they watch their children grow up too fast.
The famous couple is sending their daughter Lola off to college at New York University this fall, and mom (and dad) are a little emotional.
The “Live with Kelly and Ryan” host shared a throwback photo of Lola on Instagram of her and her actor husband looking down at their newborn daughter.
“#tbt (Throwback Thursday) 2001 from your Christening to college. In the blink of an eye. I’m not crying. You’re crying ?(actually Daddy’s sobbing) ?,” Ripa captioned the post.

Lola, 18, is the middle child of Ripa and Consuelos’ children. They also share two sons, Michael, 22, and Joaquin, 16.
Ripa recently shared a photo of Lola looking oh-so-grown-up in a prom dress, which apparently she altered without her parents’ permission.
“That’s the prom dress that we had made, and then she had altered behind our back, when we weren’t (looking),” said Ripa as a guest on the “Jerry O'” show hosted by Jerry O’Connell. “So, that’s why, you know, the girls are fully on display.”
The dress was form-fitting and emerald green with thigh-high slit and deep-v neckline.

The mom of three also joked that it took her 20 hours to get that photo.
“I was like, ‘Please just give Mommy one, one photo. Just one.’”
Oh, kids. They drive us crazy, but then the second they are gone we miss them like crazy.
