One good-looking duo! Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos showed off their toned bodies in matching swimsuits during their Mexican getaway on Sunday, January 27.
The Live With Kelly and Ryan cohost, 48, and the shirtless Riverdale star, 47, walked down the beach together while sporting coordinating white hats and bathing suits. The twosome’s rock-hard abs were on display during their day in the sun.
Ripa and Consuelos, who met on the set of All My Children, tied the knot in 1996. They are parents of sons Michael 21, and Joaquin, 15, and daughter Lola, 17.
While the Hope and Faith alum looked incredibly fit during the duo’s trip to Mexico, she revealed earlier this month that she “could never” join Consuelos on the low-carb keto diet.
“My husband has gone full keto, which I don’t mind telling you is something I could never do,” she told Bon Appétit’s Healthyish on January 22. “I just don’t have that level of discipline. Mark says that I’m carb-o because I always eat his bun if he gets a burger. And the fries. But, you know, I work out, so I feel like I’m allowed. I’m 48, I’m entitled and I’m eating whatever I want to eat.”
The pair do, however, enjoy exercising together while they are on vacation, Ripa told the magazine.

“I’m crazy about [Kelly],” Consuelos revealed to Us Weekly earlier this month. “She’s an extremely patient and a tolerant woman, and I think that’s the true secret to our marriage.”

Happier Than Ever
The talk show host told Us in November 2018 that the twosome have come a long way over the years. “We like each other, so that helps! But it wasn’t always so easy. In the early stages, it’s easy to let stuff burn out of control,” Ripa explained. “You want to be right or you want to hear an apology. The stuff we used to argue over in our first year of marriage was like, ‘Are you going to breathe next to me?’ Those were insane fights!”

Ripa compared her body to a little boy during a recent interview. “I was talking to a cardiologist and he said to make sure your heart beats out of your chest every day. The more you exercise, the healthier it is,” she told The Cut on January 8. “And I can be honest: My body looks like Peter Pan no matter what I do. I’ve never been a va-va-voom woman.”

Consuelos defended his wife’s decision to wear a bikini amid backlash from Instagram trolls in March 2018. “She works extremely hard in her professional life and her commitment to exercise, healthy diet is admirable and the benefits show,” he wrote on Instagram. “Yes she’s wearing a bikini at age 47 and will no doubt wear one for many years to come. … . I love you @kellyripa… keep killing it.”
