Kate Winslet's youngest son is ready for his close-up!
On Thursday, the actress, 45, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live where she shared a hilarious story about her 7-year-old son Bear Blaze.
Winslet — who also has daughter Mia, 20, and son Joe, 17, from previous marriages — explained that her son Bear is "pretty funny" and recently had an adorable admission to share with his mother.
"The other day my son was very funny. He turned to me and said, 'Mom, I've got a confession to make,' " she recalled. "He was very serious."
"He said, 'I'm just gonna come out with it. I'm just gonna say it,' and I'm like, 'Oh my god the drama.' He looks at me and says, 'I want to be an actress,' " she shared, as she and Kimmel burst into laughter.

Winslet said she started to laugh at her son's response to which Bear replied, "It's not funny, I want to be an actress. Sign me up."
"What do you do with that, honestly? It's hilarious, it made me laugh," Winslet admitted of her son's statement.
The actress also opened up to Kimmel about how her older children are handling the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. "I think it's rough on the teens…I think it's hard on all of them," she explained.
Winslet said her eldest son, Joe, is "very musical" and has been able to "Zoom with his mates and make a lot of music."
The Ammonite star also said Joe will also be learning to drive soon.
"In England you can learn to drive when you're 17 so that I think is going to become part of his lockdown as well, driving lessons. I think that's something he's really excited about," Winslet said.
However, the actress admitted that she will "definitely not" be the one teaching her son how to drive. "I'll leave that to my husband," she said of Edward Abel Smith, who has changed his name for a second time. "I'd get too frustrated I think. I'll stick to the baking."
