Dad’s day out! Jersey Shore star Jenni “JWoww” Farley’s estranged husband, Roger Mathews, spent the day with their children, Meilani, 4, and Greyson, 2, on Friday, April 12, the same day the reality star headed out on a date with a mystery man amid their divorce.
“Fun filled Friday,” Mathews, 43, captioned a series of pictures and videos of himself playing with his kids at the park and then lounging on a couch. “We are whooped. Daddy needs more cardio.”
He later added a second post that showed the little ones enjoying an Easter egg hunt — complete with surprises being dropped by an aircraft. “Great day spent with the Easter Bunny today,” Mathews shared. “Thanks @robarmystrong and @rob4lenza for the invite. The kids had an amazing day. Easter Bunny was delivering Easter eggs in style today with his own helicopter!!! #EasterBunny.”
Prior to Mathews’ outing with the kids, Farley, 33, documented a date with a new beau. “Cheers to the weekend,” the MTV personality captioned a picture in which she could be seen holding up a glass of red wine at a waterfront restaurant. She later captured a Snapchat clip that showed the man’s arm as they got cozy on a chair together. “JWoww has moved on and is happy,” Farley’s rep, Robyn Matarazzo, confirmed to Us Weekly.
Farley and Mathews — who wed in 2015 — split in September 2018. Following their breakup, the Jersey Shore: Family Reunion star accused her ex of being abusive during their relationship, but Mathews denied the claims.
“Jenni’s kids’ needs and wants will always come first,” Farley’s rep told Us after their friendly reunion, noting that the former couple have no plans to reconcile. “She is being an adult about the divorce and working towards being better coparents. As far as the divorce, there is no reconciliation in the future and she is excited about continuing to move on with her life.”
