Caitlin McHugh is back to modeling three months after giving birth … and husband John Stamos is modeling perfect behavior! As the 30-year-old Vampire Diaries alum returns to work at Wilhelmina Models, Stamos is heaping praise on his “beautiful” wife.
The 54-year-old Full House actor gave his kudos after McHugh announced her return to the workforce through Instagram on Friday, July 20.
“After a long hiatus (growing a baby) I am getting back in the game!” she wrote, giving a shoutout to Wilhelmina and adding the hashtags #backtowork and #ilovemyjob.
Soon after, Stamos left a comment on the pic. “YOU’RE SO HOT! Don’t tell my wife I left this message,” he quipped.
Then the actor turned sincere: “You don’t even know how beautiful you are. And that’s just one more endearing quality about you that makes me love you so much!!!”
Stamos and McHugh welcomed their first child together, a son named Billy, in April — just two months after their marriage and six months after they announced their engagement.
“From now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son,” the Scream Queens alum wrote on Instagram at the time, heralding the new addition.
Stamos also opened up about the fatherhood experience in an interview with Us Weekly earlier this month — sharing the fact that he actually doesn’t mind changing diapers. “It’s the only time I really have him alone, without people around,” he explained.
Mostly, though, Stamos said he is excited about the future. “I spend the most time just daydreaming about what his and our life will be like,” he told Us. “There’s no wasting time anymore. That’s the best thing about being a dad.”
