Calling in reinforcements! Jessica Alba’s 15-month-old son, Ace, pooped in the bathtub, and the actress couldn’t handle the cleanup on her own — so she asked her daughters, Honor, 10, and Haven, 7, for help.
“When my 1 yr old poops in the tub and I ask my 7 & 10 yr old to clean it for me b/c… #imbaby #ihatewetpoo,” the L.A.’s Finest star, 37, wrote on Instagram on Monday, April 1. “Half of it ended up in the main tub and the baby tub drain was open and filled w poo. I should have dumped it in the toilet but I didn’t want the chance of it spilling on the floor.”
Alba documented the experience on her Instagram Story, as well. She held her son in the first video, asking him, “Ace, you pooped in the tub. How do you feel about that?”
The little one’s response? Smiling and babbling. The Honest Company founder’s daughters were less thrilled about the situation.
“This is torture,” Honor said, while Haven simply plugged her nose and sprayed disinfectant.
“I’m just so mad about this,” Alba said from behind the camera. “I got a poop bag, and I’m going in. Oh, God. Oh, that is extra terrible. … I can’t get it. What am I gonna do?”
She found success eventually and shared a shot of the clean bathtub, writing, “Saturating everything w alcohol after I’ve cleaned with scolding [sic] water and soap.”
The Honest Life author and her husband, Cash Warren, welcomed their son in December 2017. “Hayes Alba Warren. 12/31/17. Best gift to ring in the New Year!!” Alba wrote on Instagram at the time. “Cash and I feel so blessed. Haven and Honor are already obsessed with their new baby bro.”
