Jenna Dewan has turned to Amazon to help her plan the perfect birthday party.
The actress told PEOPLE that the last thing she bought on the retail giant’s site was an L.O.L Surprise! Doll, the super popular doll that comes in a ball with tons of accessories. While Dewan said she’s “on Amazon pretty much every day,” she bought this toy just in time for her almost 6-year-old daughter Everly’s birthday party.
“It’s her birthday coming up, so we’re having an L.O.L.-themed party,” Dewan said. “She has entered the L.O.L. obsession.”
The tiny dolls have become extremely popular since launching in 2016, even claiming the top-selling toy of the year spot in 2017. The $11 collectibles have garnered thousands of positive reviews on Amazon, mainly from parents who love seeing how much their kids enjoy the dolls.
“I gave these L.O.L surprises as a gift. The girls loved them. They let me help them open some. I must say, even as an adult, I was fascinated with the process of opening them, and excited about seeing the items inside,” one shopper wrote.
The original doll comes in a small ball with seven accessories — like stickers, outfits, water bottles, and more — but the brand also has several different versions and series of the toy available, including a kit with over 60 surprises.
