On the mend! Brittany Kerr spent “days” in the hospital after she and her husband, Jason Aldean, welcomed their daughter on Monday, February 4, but the mother of two is now finally back home.
The American Idol alum, 30, shared a short clip on her Instagram Story on Thursday, February 7, taken from her kitchen. “Home,” she captioned the video, which showed off a pink and purple bouquet of flowers on the countertop, plus pasta and toast on top of the stove.
The post comes just one day after the former cheerleader told her followers that she still hadn’t returned to her Tennessee house. “When your labor goes amazing … but then things go south,” she wrote over footage of her feet on her Wednesday, February 6, Instagram Story. “Still hospital living with my trooper of a hubs and a precious little girl. One blood transfusion … and swollen everything.”
In a second video, she and the country crooner, 41, could be heard laughing. “We’ve been in the hospital for days now, and I’m ready to take these fat little piggies home,” Kerr said from behind the camera.
When her baby girl, Navy, arrived, Kerr shared a sweet close-up shot of her little one Opens a New Window. on social media. “We welcomed our daughter Navy Rome into the world today at 12:45pm,” she captioned the photo. “7lbs 12oz of pure preciousness. We love you so much baby girl!!”
Kerr and Aldean announced that they were expecting in July 2018, seven months after welcoming their baby boy, Memphis. The “You Make it Easy” singer also shares two daughters with his ex, Jessica Ussery — Keeley, 15, and Kendyl, 11.
“Today our family became complete as we welcomed our daughter Navy Rome to the world,” the musician wrote on Instagram Opens a New Window. when his fourth child arrived. “Born on 2/4/19 weighing 7lbs 12oz and looking identical to her older brother. So excited to watch what life has in store for this little princess.”
