Hilaria Baldwin is not pregnant, and if she was she’d let you know herself.

The mom, who shares four children with Alec Baldwin, voiced her frustrations when she said a media outlet reached out to her publicist asking her to confirm rumors that she is pregnant.

“My immediate response is ‘no’ because I’m not—and that is simple,” Baldwin wrote to Instagram alongside a video of her doing cartwheels on the beach with her kids. “But given what happened this spring, I have to say that this call really bugged me.”

She continued saying that she gets upset any time a publication calls and says they will be running a story on her personal life because it feels invasive. However, this one hit too close to home.

“Given the subject and that I had a miscarriage this spring, and was so open about it, this one feels extra upsetting. When, and if, I’m pregnant again, I will probably share it right away,” the 35-year-old mom wrote.

In April, Baldwin took to Instagram to confirm “there was no heartbeat,” just days after she revealed she was likely “experiencing a miscarriage.”

My publicist got a call from a publication saying they heard a rumor that I’m pregnant and want confirmation. My immediate response is “no” because I’m not—and that is simple. But given what happened this spring, I have to say that this call really bugged me. Firstly, I always get upset when a publication calls, saying they will post something—whether it is true or not. It feels invasive and I’m just living my life and all of a sudden someone calls to tell me they will share something about my personal life—usually made up. But given the subject and that I had a miscarriage this spring, and was so open about it, this one feels extra upsetting. When, and if, I’m pregnant again, I will probably share it right away. I’ve suffered publicly and was glad I was so open. I stand behind my decision to open up as I did. So many healing conversations are happening surrounding fertility and infertility and I think this is positive for those of us who felt we had to hide and suffered in silence. I’m proud to have been and be a part of this movement towards destigmatizing the struggles some of us experience with childbearing. So, I’m asking that you await me telling the news…when and if it happens. Please do not search and try to tell the news for me. It will be MY news…just as any woman has the right to share herself what is happening with her body and her baby. Oh…and why did I post this? Because I probably wouldn’t be doing cartwheels on the beach if I was pregnant and nauseous…although it is me…so who knows ???‍♀️. PS…see baby Romeo trying to figure out a cartwheel ??. His little arms and spinning ❤️?

The author and yoga instructor said that she had suffered publicly and does not regret her decision to be open about her miscarriage. She said it has opened the door to have important conversations around fertility.

“I think this is positive for those of us who felt we had to hide and suffered in silence. I’m proud to have been and be a part of this movement towards destigmatizing the struggles some of us experience with childbearing,” Baldwin wrote.

She went on to note that should she ever get pregnant again, to allow her the space to share the news herself as it is the right of every woman to have autonomy over sharing what is happening with her body.
