Even with hired help, Hilaria Baldwin finds some days more challenging than others when it comes to wrangling four unpredictable kids.
In a Wednesday Instagram photo, the fitness instructor is surrounded by her three oldest children — sons Leonardo Ángel Charles, 2, and Rafael Thomas, 3½, plus daughter Carmen Gabriela, 5 — while seated outside on the ground.
Notably, the sibling trio all have meltdown-worthy expressions on their faces, with Carmen sporting a full-on cry as her mom attempts to calm them down with a group embrace. (Not pictured was youngest child Romeo Alejandro David, 8 months.)
“So my day is going GREAT … how’s yours??? ?,” Hilaria, 35, jokingly captioned the honest snapshot, going on to explain that the group’s 40-minute walk to the park with their nanny was filled with the kids “all fighting about who was gonna hold my hands.”
“I usually can be silly enough to change their moods, but today when we arrived, I just sat down as they all continued to scream … while our nanny laughed and documented this gem of a moment for me (love her ?❤️?),” added the mother of four.

Hilaria expressed gratitude for her “sense of humor,” explaining that the situation “was so extreme that you just have to laugh.”
“By the way, they are all playing ‘mommy and baby and cousin’ now … Leo is the cousin ??. PARENTHOOD!!!!” she concluded.
The yoga guru took to her Instagram Story to share evidence of the kids getting along and having a good time at the playground, climbing on the equipment and “playing ‘fetch.’ “
“At least they are all taking turns being the dog,” Hilaria wrote on top of a snapshot of Carmen with a stick in her mouth and a smile on her face.
Hilaria has no qualms about opening up in regards to the more difficult parts of parenting. Last month, she recalled a time when her and husband Alec Baldwin‘s oldest child was just 2 years old and found herself wanting to climb into a garbage can at Union Square in New York City.
“She kept on screaming that she wanted me to let her climb into the trash,” Hilaria told PEOPLE’s Celeb Parents Get Real. “And she was like, ‘You’re so mean! You’re a bad mommy! You won’t let me go in the trash!’ “
“She screamed for a solid 40 minutes after that about how I was so mean I wouldn’t let her go into the Union Square trash,” she continued of Carmen, adding with a sly grin, “And I will be telling her that story at the wedding.”
