Hilaria and Alec Baldwin’s Sons Had Very Different Reactions to Being Baptized

One out of two ain’t bad! When Alec and Hilaria Baldwin baptized 3-month-old Romeo and Leonardo, 23 months, on Tuesday, August 21, the brothers had very different reactions to the milestone.

Hilaria, 34, shared photos from inside the church on her Instagram Story. “Romeo didn’t flinch,” the yoga instructor shared, along with a picture of the infant looking relaxed as he lowered into water. Leonardo, however, appeared petrified. “Leo flinched a lot,” Hilaria wrote. “He’s my sensitive baby.” (In the snap, doting dad Alec, 60, is seen leaning in to comfort the terrified toddler.) Hilaria later added that Leonardo “was OK” after some kisses from his mama.

Romeo and Leonardo were joined at the chapel by their older siblings Carmen, 5, and Rafael, 3. In July, Hilaria opened up to Us Weekly about how Romeo’s old brothers and sister are constantly hugging and kissing him. “They do have to learn to be a little bit more careful,” revealed the New York-based mom. “They sort of like, love on him too hard!”

While the 30 Rock alum is very involved with his little ones, Hilaria admitted she prefers handling diaper changes and food prep. “Mom knows best and I know that if I do it, it’s going to be done the way I want it done,” she told Us at the time. “I overwhelm that area of being just a super, super, super hands-on mom. We don’t like to fight so he does his thing, I do my thing and we’re happy.”

The Emmy winner and Hilaria celebrated their six-year wedding anniversary in June. He also shares daughter Ireland Basinger Baldwin with ex-wife Kim Basinger, to whom he was married from 1993 to 2002.
