Happy first birthday, baby True Thompson!
Khloé Kardashian celebrated her daughter turning 1 year old with a heartfelt tribute on social media, posting a collection of adorable photos of the birthday girl (some never shared before!) to her Instagram Story Friday morning alongside an emotional message.
“My baby is 1 today,” she began, adding an anguished-face emoji, before sharing the first snapshot: an intimate grab of Kardashian and True in the hospital right after her birth. “Where does the time go?”
In a series of Snapchat clips, the reality star’s baby girl sported a variety of fun face filters like bear ears, tortoiseshell glasses and devil horns as her mom could be heard telling her, “Birthday girl! … Party girl! It’s your birthday!”
Kardashian, 34, and estranged boyfriend Tristan Thompson welcomed their first child together on April 12, 2018, in Cleveland. The Cleveland Cavaliers player is also dad to 2-year-old son Prince Oliver from a previous relationship.
Kardashian recently told PEOPLE she’s in disbelief that her baby is about to hit the one-year mark. “It’s so corny but you don’t realize how fast time goes by until you see a child growing in front of you,” she said. “It’s scary and sad because it goes so fast. Can we slow down time?”
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star added, “I am so utterly obsessed with her. This first year has been amazing. And I really feel like I was meant to do this.”

Khloé Kardashian Says True Turning 1 Is “Scary and Sad”: “Can We Slow Down Time?”
On Wednesday, Kardashian tweeted about how fast time has flown by while raising True.
“Is it weird that I think I’m having anxiety thinking True will be one on Friday?!?!” she wrote. “I’m sad Time is flying as fast as it is. I’ll be happy, of course, I simply can’t understand where the time goes. Thank you Lord for every moment … bring me the tissue.”
In response, one fan wrote, “Omg if you need tissue now you will be an absolute mess at her kindergarten graduation,” to which the reality star responded: “Graduation?! I’ll be a mess day one of preschool lol I can’t think about this.”
Later, Kardashian commented, “It’s so crazy how fast time goes. I guess that’s why we have to make every moment count while we can.”
True’s birth came just two days after news broke that Thompson, 28, was allegedly seen kissing multiple other women and a source called him “a serial cheater.”
Most recently in February, Kardashian was hit with another infidelity scandal after the athlete kissed Kylie Jenner‘s best friend Jordyn Woods at a party he was hosting.
In March, she expressed her gratitude for True after a fan wished her well. “I genuinely hope @KhloeKardashian meets someone one day that treats her with the respect she deserves. She’s been through more shiddy [sic] relationships than any one [sic] deserves. At least she got baby True,” the fan wrote to Kardashian on Twitter.
“Baby True made it all worth it,” the Good American mogul responded.

That same month, Kardashian called Thompson a “good dad” to their child, adding, “My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that.”
A source told PEOPLE earlier this month that the mother of one hasn’t jumped back into the dating scene yet, but will “eventually,” explaining, “True will always be Khloé’s life and number one. Khloé is obsessed with her little girl. She really is the most wonderful mom.”
The insider added, “Khloé isn’t dating, but at least she’s able to talk and joke about dating. She realizes with True around now, she just needs to be super picky.’
A source told PEOPLE in March that Kardashian “needs time” to heal before letting another man into her life. “It’s going to take so long for her to rebuild trust with anyone,” the insider said. “It will take her a long time to date again. A significant amount of time.”
