From Fairies and Unicorns to Fortnite and Tarzan: The Kardashian Kids' Best Birthday Party Themes

Before grandma Kris Jenner took him on a shopping spree, her oldest grandchild Mason Dash turned 9 among family and friends with a Fortnite-themed bash.

The theme paid homage to the popular video game, and the party featured giant video screens where partygoers could try their hand at being the last one standing, as well as a light-up dance floor, custom apparel and a giant sign spelling out Mason’s name.

When it came time for the birthday boy to blow out the candles on his special cake — which had nods to the game — mom Kourtney Kardashian lifted up his 4-year-old brother Reign Aston, who was also born on Dec. 14, to help.

Kim Kardashian West turned her home into Tarzan’s jungle to celebrate her son Saint‘s third birthday and nephew Reign’s fourth.

“So the boys are obsessed with Tarzan. And we have a Tarzan-themed birthday party and a jungle in my house,” the KKW Beauty mogul said as she showed off all of the vegetation throughout her home.

In addition to showing off their matching cakes, Kim also shared that husband Kanye West had made the boys a very limited edition set of “merch shirts” for the occasion.

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s baby girl Dream Renée, 2, was transformed into a fairy princess for her second birthday!

The family home was decorated with a giant teepee covered in strands of green leaves, butterflies and pastel-colored balloons. Colorful butterfly streamers hung from the ceiling above a table, which was decorated with gifts for the birthday girl.

In addition, the family had displayed an elaborate dessert table — to match the fairy theme, of course — featuring gourmet cake pops, donuts, candies, chocolate-covered pretzels, ice-cream cones and a personalized blue birthday cake.

As North turned 5 and Penelope Scotland turned 6, the “twin girls” marked the occasion with a bash fit for even the most avid unicorn lover.

While documenting what she described as “North and Penelope’s unicorn birthday party,” Kim made sure to highlight all its sweet treats, which included doughnuts, matching unicorn cakes and rice-crispy pops with little unicorn horns and ears.

She also included videos of the too-cute party decorations, which included “real unicorns,” tables covered in festive balloon centerpieces and FUNBOY Rainbow Cloud Day Bed pool floats.

Kim and Kourtney took to Snapchat to document Saint and Reign’s joint Monsters Inc.-themed 2017 celebration, which included a ton of winter-appropriate outdoor activities like ice skating, sledding (on fake snow) and a visit from Santa Claus.

The sisters also surprised the two boys with their own individual confections, themed after the two BFFs from the films: a James P. “Sulley” Sullivan cake for Reign, and a Mike Wazowski cake for Saint.

Reign and Mason have spent many a birthday at Disneyland. In 2017, the boys celebrated at The Happest Place on Earth with their own individual Mickey Mouse-themed birthday cakes.

In 2018, Kim, Kourtney and Kris took the kids to Disneyland where “They went on their favorite rides and the kids were so excited,” a source told PEOPLE.

A Disney-loving family! North and Penelope rang in their fourth and fifth birthdays, respectively, with a Moana-themed bash, complete with characters from the movie and Polynesian costumes for the birthday girls.

North looked the part in a printed two-piece outfit adorned with leis and a tropical flower crown, while Penelope wore a brown wig to pose for a photo with Larsa Pippen’s daughter, Sophia.

Attendees documented the entire bash on social media, from the food (mac and cheese, ribs, flavored ice and two cakes) to the pig petting zoo.

With a family like the Kardashians, North could’ve celebrated her birthday anywhere — but she proved she was just a regular gal and blew out the candles at Chuck E. Cheese’s in 2017.

A sweet photo on Snapchat showed North sitting in front of a sprinkle-covered purple-and-white birthday cake with a figurine of the pizza chain’s mouse mascot on top.

For their 2016 festivities, Reign and Mason celebrated with a theme even Vin Diesel would envy: a car-lovers homage to The Fast and the Furious.

The party featured a fun monster truck bouncy house slide, a mini race track and an actual car from the film that made Paul Walker and Diesel best friends.

Mason and Reign each enjoyed their own car-themed birthday cakes, with cars adorning the tops.

North wasn’t missing out on the Disneyland birthday fun! A year before she turned 3 by donning a Sleeping Beauty gown and visiting the park, Kim and Kanye’s oldest child turned 2 with a Minnie Mouse-themed bash.

Photos of the outing showed a then-toddler North wearing a white T-shirt, jean shorts and Minnie Mouse ears. She also sported face paint shaped like a bow on her forehead.

Dubbed “Kidchella,” North’s first-birthday festivities were “amazing,” according to a source.

Guests, who were given colorful “Kidchella” wristbands (a nod to Coachella, the popular desert music festival), enjoyed the on-site Ferris wheel, teepees and carts offering churros and lemonade.

“There were many fun activities for the kids,” the source added. “They had face painting and a stage for singing. All the kids had the best time.”

Giddy up! Mason’s second birthday party featured an enormous hat cake to match the Wild West theme.
