A Memphis high school freshman was reportedly being bullied for wearing the same clothes to school every day, so two football players stepped in and gifted him with new attire.

A video of Antwann Garrett and Kristopher Graham giving Michael Todd his gifts in the school’s hallways went viral on social media. The clip shows the two students handing Todd a bag of clothes and some new sneakers.

The kind act received a lot of praise from people commenting on the video saying how much they loved what the boys did for Todd.

In an interview with CBS, Todd said he had been bullied his entire life and his first few weeks at Martin Luther King Jr. College Preparatory High School in Memphis, Tennessee were filled with students mocking him for wearing the same clothes.

“I really don’t have clothes at home,” Todd told the outlet. “My mom can’t buy clothes for me because I’m growing too fast.”

Garrett and Graham share the same class with Todd so they saw the bullying first-hand.

“When I saw people laugh at him and bully him, I felt like I needed to do something,” Graham said. He texted his friend Garrett asking for help.

“I got some shoes, some brand new shoes, I can give him and I got a couple items I can give him too,” Garrett said.

Graham said they approached Todd by the lockers the next day and he noticed he wasn’t smiling, but thought their gifts would soon uplift his spirits.

“I want to apologize to you for laughing at you and I want to give you something to make it up,” Graham told Todd.

Todd said he was caught off guard by the football players’ kindness, but it made him very happy.

“You guys are the best guys of my entire life,” Todd told the two boys.

According to WHBQ, those who would like to donate to Todd can do so by shipping items to the school at MLK College Preparatory School, 1530 Dellwood Avenue, Memphis, TN 38127 or making monetary contributions here.
