Following Their Footsteps! Hilary Duff, Matthew Koma's Daughter Plays Guitar

In her genes! Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma’s 8-month-old daughter, Banks, is already taking after her parents.

“And it begins…” the “Kisses Back” singer, 32, captioned a Wednesday, June 26, Instagram video. In the footage, the little one sat in the grass beside a guitar, strumming the strings and pounding the neck like a drum.

Lit member Jeremy Popoff commented, “She’s not very good.”

The Younger star, 31, also posted about her daughter the same day, captioning a pic of Banks in the grass with a dog: “Breezy friends.”

Duff and her fiancé, who got engaged in May, welcomed their baby girl seven months earlier. “We welcome a beautiful daughter, little sister, and best friend for life,” Koma captioned a family pic on Instagram in October 2018. “Could not possibly be more grateful for our growing family and for the [woman] who makes it all possible. Cloud ten.”

The Lizzie McGuire alum added, “Banks Violet Blair. This little bit has fully stolen our hearts! She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic.”

The actress’ little one mastered crawling last month. “We got a mover,” Duff wrote alongside a May video of Banks crawling toward her older brother, Luca, 7, whom the “So Yesterday” singer shares with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie.

“She knows what she wants and she gets it,” the former Disney Channel star told Us Weekly exclusively that same month. “Like, the first time she crawled, Luca was in the door and she saw him in the door frame and she was like, ‘Ahhh!’ She just wanted to get to him! That’s how she figured out how to put one arm in front of the other. I’m just like, ‘You are an animal. You are a go-getter.’”
