No stranger to mom-shaming! Kailyn Lowry has heard it all since appearing on 16 and Pregnant in 2010. Now, the Teen Mom 2 star has three sons — and social media trolls love to tell Lowry how to parent her boys.
Whether the “Coffee Convos” podcast host is being bashed for the length of her baby’s hair or the fact that he hasn’t been vaccinated, she isn’t afraid to clap back.

Vetoing Vaccinations
Lowry admitted on a January 2019 episode of her “Coffee Convos” podcast that even though Isaac was vaccinated, she’d chosen for her youngest not to get his shots after doing research and speaking to other moms. “Lux is 18 months, and he is not vaccinated,” she admitted. “He hasn’t ever really been sick, and for me, I just think the more research that I do, and the more educated I’ve become, I just don’t vaccinate him.”
When some fans slammed her for this, Lowry clapped back, telling InTouch Weekly, “I guess the only thing I can really say and continue to stand for is to parent how it’s best for your child and family. People don’t love everything I do, but I don’t shove my beliefs down everyone’s throat. I know what’s best for my kids and other parents know what’s best for theirs.”

Loving the Length
Even though Lowry’s eldest two sons have their hair cut short, the reality star’s baby boy, Lux, has long locks — and fans have bashed her for not getting him a haircut. She clapped back at a social media troll in September 2018, writing this epic response: “I don’t tell people to tape your mouth shut cause you’re ignorant. Don’t tell me what to do with my children.”

On Defense
With so many comments about Lux’s long hair, Lowry has had to defend her son multiple times. “I’ll cut it when he tells me he wants to cut it,” she tweeted in March 2018 when a social media user said the little one looked like a girl. “But you can mind your business lil momma.”

Holding On
Lowry can’t win! After being bashed for holding Lux too much, she tweeted in September 2017, “I hate when people say the baby is going to be spoiled if I hold him all the time. Welllll he’s only an infant for so long.”
Her fellow cast member Chelsea Houska posted something similar that same day: “So now you get mom shamed if you hold your baby too much and if you don’t hold your baby enough. Awesome.”

Taking a Trip
“So I’m a s–tty mom bc I flew Lux here with me?” Lowry asked her Twitter followers in October 2017 during a trip to Disney World. “But I would’ve been a bad mom had I left my newborn home. Get a grip y’all.”
