Duchess Meghan Has Been Working With a Doula During Pregnancy

Gearing up for labor! Duchess Meghan has been working with a doula who has regularly visited her and Prince Harry’s homes in both Oxfordshire and at Kensington Palace, a source reveals exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly.

“Meghan is focused on calm and positive energy around the birth — she’s a big believer in that,” the source explains, noting that a doula assists in the baby’s birth.

The palace announced in October 2018 that Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, are expecting their first child together. The source tells Us that the prince “is doing everything he can to make sure Meghan’s comfortable and happy.”

The royal couple, who tied the knot in May 2018, are also “racing against time” to have their new home at Frogmore Cottage renovated and ready for Meghan’s spring due date.

“The one thing that’s holding up some of the work is the eco/energy center at the heart of Frogmore Cottage,” the source explained. “It was important for Harry to reduce their carbon footprint as much as possible.”

According to the source, Meghan and Harry’s vision for their home is “city meets country — lots of muted tones, plush accents and unique pieces from around the world.” The source adds some “furniture and artwork belonging to the Royal Collection, which will be on loan to them indefinitely.”

While construction have be chaotic, the source tells Us that the duo are “calm” and “happy to go with the flow.”
