Does Jessica Simpson have birds on the brain?
The 38-year-old singer fashion mogul, who’s currently expecting her third child, shared photos from her baby shower on Saturday, seemingly dropping one very big piece of news.
In the Instagram images, Simpson and her family posed together in front of a neon sign that read “Birdie’s Nest,” which left fans wondering whether she and husband Eric Johnson would be naming their new baby Birdie.
In one image, Simpson — who wore a white lace dress with a green robe — posed alongside her daughter Maxwell “Maxi” Drew, 6½, who smiled while placing a hand on her mother’s baby bump. The singer also shared another photo with her mother Tina, her younger sister Ashlee Simpson Ross and Ashlee’s daughter Jagger Snow, 3.
The soon-to-be mother of three simply captioned both snapshots, “Birdie’s Nest.”

The “Birdie” theme was present throughout the rest of the day’s festivities including the event’s whimsical table settings. Simpson shared an image of a little menu placed at each seat.
“A little Birdie told me,” the menu began, before encouraging all the mom-to-be’s guests to “stuff your beaks.”
Simpson announced that she is expecting her third child, a baby girl, with Johnson in September. The couple, who wed in 2014, are already parents to daughter Maxi and son Ace Knute, 5½.
With her due date growing closer, the expectant mother has recently had some trouble with extreme foot swelling. One day after poking fun at her problem, the singer tried out a technique to help alleviate her condition.
Sharing a photo of her swollen foot on Friday, Simpson wrote that she was experimenting with cupping therapy, an ancient Chinese massage therapy technique thought to increase blood circulation.

Shortly after posting an image of her foot with three suction-cup-like tools covering it, she proudly showed off the favorable results. “SKANKLES aka Skinny Ankles ?,” she captioned an image of her noticeably less swollen foot.
