David Beckham is the Sweetest Dad Ever This IWD

On Friday, David Beckham celebrated International Women’s Day with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram to his wife, designer Victoria Beckham (formerly known as Posh Spice of the Spice Girls) and his daughter, Harper, 7. He also honored his mother, Sandra Beckham, in the post, which was accompanied by a series of loving photos.

“Today we celebrate International Women’s Day,” he captioned the series of shots. “I’m so blessed to have these amazing women in my life, they inspire me every single day… Happy International Women’s Day to all the inspirational women around the world.”

The Beckhams also share three sons: Cruz, 14, Romeo, 16, and Brooklyn, 19, whom David told the Irish Independent he is raising as feminists.

In an October 2017 interview with the Irish Independent, Beckham was asked if he was a feminist.

He continued, “Having a little girl, I think that’s a big part of it. You know, my mum and my dad always brought me up to respect my sisters, my mum, my grandmother. I think that is one thing that I was always brought up with. It is an important part of my life. It has always been an important part of my life.”

The interviewer pressed harder, asking Beckham if he thought feminism was “in his DNA.”

“I’d like to think it is,” Beckham replied. “And I want to do the same for my children. My sons.”

The Beckhams are approaching their 20th wedding anniversary on July 4 — an impressive milestone for any marriage, especially one in the public eye.

Recently Victoria told Entertainment Tonight that her husband is a huge support in her career. “David is such a great husband, such a great dad, and the most incredible business partner that anybody could ever want,” she said. “He really supports me in what I do.”

In December 2018, David Beckham tweeted this red-carpet shot of himself with Victoria, captioned simply, “My love.”

We’re feeling the love, Beckhams.
