Family of three! Jess Weixler announced that she gave birth to her first child with her husband, Hamish Brocklebank, on Thursday, March 7.
“Welcome to the world Beatrice Danger Brocklebank. I mean…” the Good Wife star, 37, captioned the Instagram reveal.
In the sweet selfie, Weixler posed in bed with her baby girl resting on her chest, while the businessman, 32, slept beside them.
The Teeth star announced in November 2018 that she and her husband, who wed three years earlier, had a little one on the way. “Just had some pizza (6 months),” she wrote beneath a pic cradling her baby bump Opens a New Window. .
The Kentucky native celebrated the little one’s impending arrival with a January baby shower thrown by her friends, including Jessica Chastain. The bash included an elephant cake, beach views and gold balloons.

This isn’t the first time that Chastain, 41, who attended Juilliard with Weixler, has attended one of her parties. When the new mom got married in 2015, she invited the Zero Dark Thirty star to her bachelorette party in Las Vegas. Weixler wore a tulle wedding dress when she and Brocklebank tied the knot on the beach, and her husband sported a coral suit.
“The stars aligned for these two wonderful people. I love this couple, especially @jessweixler,” Chastain wrote on Instagram to celebrate her pal’s big day. “You are the most beautiful friend. I’m so proud of you.”
