Christina Hall Shut Down Rumors That She ‘Stole’ Her Kids

Christina Hall‘s Easter celebration ruffled some [baby chick] feathers, and the HGTV star was quick to set the record straight. Hall spent the springtime holiday with her three kids — Taylor, 12, Brayden, 7, and Hudson, 3 — and shared a family photo with the location set to Franklin, Tennessee.

“Easter 2023 💗,” she captioned the carousel of photos. “Complete with baby goats and baby chicks 🐐 🐤.”

Followers couldn’t get over how much Taylor looked like her mom (it’s seriously uncanny) and how adorable the baby goats were. Once they got past the cuteness overload, some wondered just where Hall lives. Had she and husband Josh Hall moved to The Volunteer State?

“For everyone confused.. we do NOT live in Tennessee,” Hall wrote on her Instagram story. “We live in California … we have a second home in Tennessee.”

Hall shares Taylor and Brayden with her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa — who welcomed a baby boy with wife Heather Rae in January — and Hudson with ex-husband Ant Anstead. People wondered what the kids were doing so far from their fathers for the holiday, especially amid Hall and Anstead’s custody battle that may be filled with “anger and negativity.”

Hall clarified that this Easter celebration was part of her custody arrangement with Anstead. Court documents obtained by E! News show that the former couple agreed that Hudson would spend Easter with his dad on even years and his mom on odd years.

*Sigh of relief*

In the fans’ defense, Hall has had a tumultuous time in the limelight with two very public divorces and an especially messy custody battle with Anstead.

“‘How long will this [marriage] last?’” Josh jokingly captioned an anniversary post.

“Better be ♾️ !!! ❤️,” Christina responded.

Though the couple hosted baby animals for their Easter celebration, they told PEOPLE in January that their “hands are full,” and they don’t plan to have a baby together.

“We’re done here. I can’t even imagine that,” she shared in January. “I think my head would fall off. We’re happy with the three. We’re good.”
