One tough (expectant) mama! Christina Anstead is 15 weeks pregnant and all smiles again after weathering a challenging first trimester. The HGTV star, 35, detailed her pregnancy experience thus far, as she shared her first baby bump photo via Instagram on Tuesday, March 26.
“Now that I can talk about [it], the first trimester was brutal!” she wrote in the post. “Maybe it’s my age (35- considered a geriatric pregnancy 
) lol… or maybe I just forgot how bad it was with Tay and Bray. But yikes it really blind sided me. Nausea, exhaustion, too many food aversions, too many carbs…. anyways I’m officially back to feeling somewhat normal. Going to try and enjoy the second trimester while it’s here.”
She also heaped gratitude onto Ant Anstead, her husband since December 2018: “Thank you to my amazing husband for being so supportive while his new bride was complaining and a little more cray than usual 
. We found out we were expecting after the honeymoon and I’m officially 15 weeks now.”
Christina, who has two kids with ex-husband and Flip or Flop co-star Tarek El-Moussa Opens a New Window. , confirmed her pregnancy on Friday, March 22. “@ant_anstead and I are so excited to announce #babyanstead coming this September,” she wrote on Instagram. “The kids are all so excited to meet their new sibling #5 #Gonnaneedabiggercar.”
Ant, 39, also expressed excitement on Instagram. “And then…… there were FIVE!!!” he wrote on Friday. “(Well …. four and a half! Will be Five in September)!!”
Christina shares daughter Taylor, 8, and son Brayden, 3, with El Moussa, from whom she split in 2016 after seven years of marriage. She filed for divorce from the 37-year-old in 2017 and finalized the split the following year. Ant has two children — daughter Amelie, 15, and son Archie, 12 — with ex-wife Louise.
