Chrissy Teigen ‘Was Drinking Too Much’ After First Becoming a Mom

Chrissy Teigen continues to keep it real about motherhood. The model — who has been open about her struggles with infertility and then postpartum depression — has revealed that she overindulged in alcohol following the birth of her daughter, Luna, in April 2016.

“After Luna, I was drinking too much,” the 32-year-old told the October issue of Women’s Health magazine. “I wasn’t eating as much because I was full from drinking. I wasn’t being good to my body.”

Teigen and her husband, John Legend, welcomed their second child, son Miles, on May 16, and the star noted she is in a better place this time around. The Cravings: Hungry for More author credits an antidepressant and a life-changing wellness retreat to Bali. “It’s like, what could be more important mental health?” she mused. “What’s more important than being proud of yourself and doing the best you can for your body?”

Since the Lip Sync Battle cohost is an open book, she didn’t hold back about anything — including her post-kids sex life with the Grammy winner. (The pair will celebrate their five-year wedding anniversary on September 14!)

“It doesn’t matter who you are — even if you’re a sexy R&B crooner or ex-swimsuit model, you’re just tired!” Teigen admitted. “We still have that passion for each other, but are we doing it randomly in a dressing? No! But it is funny: If he performs somewhere, and I go, I’m like, ‘Oh, he’s sexy.’ We’ll probably have sex that night.”

While Legend is her No. 1, Teigen has a girl crush on Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel, and once got caught staring at her. “I had never seen such a beautiful woman in my entire life,” Teigen raved. “I was like, ‘You’re gonna tell me that you eat pizza every day and never work out.’ And she said, ‘Oh, f—k no. I work hard for this.’ That was so important to hear.”
