Every mom has that item on their to-do list that never seems to get done.
Same with Joanna Gaines. In this case, it was her youngest son Crew’s birth announcement. He was born last June and time has flown by, she shared on her blog, along with some pictures from his milestone birthday party.
Chip and Joanna Gaines’ fifth and youngest child helped make it the “fastest and best year” of their lives, she wrote.
“This little boy is so joyful and so curious and is keeping us on our toes, and it has been so amazing to see him with his brothers and sisters,” she wrote. “The addition of Crew to our family has been the greatest gift.”
Both Chip and Joanna shared additional pictures on their Instagram pages.

“I can’t believe Baby Crew is already ONE!,” Joanna wrote on Instagram underneath a photo in which she’s holding Crew. “This joyful, funny, easy-going, sidekick of mine sure is easy to celebrate.”
She posted one more photo of her son on a staircase and repeated that she can’t believe a year has passed since he was born.
“I also just really love his squishy legs,” she wrote.

Chip also shared a pick of his own on Instagram. Joanna, Chip and Crew are seen sitting in the grass and Chip is taking a big bite of birthday cake while his son looks up expectantly at him. The birthday party was held at the family’s farm in Waco, Texas, according to the blog.
Chip captioned his post, “Like father, like son.”

Joanna wrote in her blog that Crew also did something similar with the cake. “We had so much fun celebrating his first birthday at the farm and my favorite part was when he dove face first into his cake!”
Also, one good thing about letting a whole year pass without writing Crew’s birth announcement?
“I only need to print one copy now … for his baby book!” Joanna wrote.
The couple has four other children: Drake, 14; Ella, 13; Duke, 11; and Emmie, 9.
