Homeland actor Maury Sterling and wife Alexis welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on March 31.
“Welcome to our little bear,” the actress wrote on Instagram as she introduced her new baby to the world. “Ford Bryant Sterling was born this morning at 4:08am. He’s healthy and we cannot thank the staff at @cedarssinai for taking amazing care of us as we bring a tiny human into a pandemic.”
She also added, “PLEASE LOOK INTO DONATING PPE TO YOUR LOCAL HOSPITAL/CLINIC.”
The proud parents are now enjoying family life and looking at the “quarantine bright side” by taking family naps and “getting a jump on isolation homeschooling” with new dad Sterling reading Tolkien to baby Ford.
