Carrie Underwood may be a country singer, but her mother is a straight rap star.

The Grammy-winning artist’s mother joined her on stage at her concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Thursday to help her daughter perform “The Champion” — the rap portion at least.

Underwood shared a clip from the mother-daughter duet to Instagram. She was a natural, to say the least.

“Nailed it! I kept trying to keep her on track!” Underwood captioned the post. “At the end she said ‘Did I do OK?’ Who knew Mom could rap?!”

You did great, Carole!

Underwood shared another photo of her and her mother on stage from that night to social media and called her mom a “champion.”

“Got to share the stage with this amazing champion tonight!” Underwood said. “Of course, I’m talking about my mom! She crushed it!”

Fans praised the video, saying how cool it was for Underwood to have her mom on stage with her.

It’s no surprise that Underwood would bring her mom to perform with her; the artist has always had her family around while on tour.

Just three months after giving birth to her youngest son, Jacob Bryan, the mom was ready to embark on her “Cry Pretty” tour with her entire family.

“Going out on the road with a 3-month-old… I’m tired,” Underwood told the “Today” show in May. “But I mean, how many people get to take their children to work with them?”
