Pink was seeing red after a troll called her husband, Carey Hart, an irresponsible father.
The drama began after Pink, 39, shared an Instagram photo of the couple’s 23-month-old son, Jameson, covered in melted candy.
“Chocolate is good for babies right?” the three-time Grammy winner wrote. “Help me Instagram, we can’t possibly parent without you.”
One woman used the comments section to unload her feelings about Hart. In her rant, she accused the retired motocross racer, 43, of showing a “complete lack of regard” for Jameson and his daughter, Willow, 7.
“I love your music, your kids are beautiful,” the person wrote. “But your husband, I’m sorry, lacks the responsibility your kids need in his care.”
Pink, who will celebrate her 13th wedding anniversary with Hart next month, promptly replied. And her response was just perfect.
“You sound well informed on the performance of my husband as a father. Answer me this: how often have you spent time with my husband? How often have you watched him parent?” the singer wrote. “Do you know my children? Are you aware of their development? Even better: what are your credentials in Parenting expertise?”
Pink went on to note that she would not be blocking the all-knowing “social media spectator” as it wasn’t worth the effort. “You sound like a person that could learn something by looking at all of this,” the hitmaker continued. “God bless your perfect path. I have no interest in that myself. However, do check in from time to time to let us know what other teachings you may have for us, oh perfect f—king stranger.”
On Monday, December 10, Hart came under fire after he shared a snap of himself riding a dirt bike with Jameson, who was not wearing goggles. “Nice eye protection for the kid,” wrote one person, to which Hart clapped back: “Move along.”
