Brooklyn Decker Jokes Her Husband ‘Can’t Ball Up a Diaper If His Life Depended on It’

They each have their specialties! Brooklyn Decker and Andy Roddick excel in very different areas of parenting.

Decker, 31, exclusively told Us Weekly how the couple balances responsibilities while raising their 8-month-old daughter, Stevie Roddick, and why the actress takes over in the diaper department.

“[Andy] can’t ball up a diaper if his life depended on it. The amount of times I’ve found open dirty diapers on the floor when I’m, like, ‘There is Velcro here to help you ball this diaper up and toss it.’ It’s really quite a weakness of his,”. Decker tells Us.

But what Roddick lacks in diaper-wrapping abilities, he makes up for in morning duty. “He’s really amazing at waking up at the morning, which is shockingly hard for me,” Decker noted. “It’s, like, that 5:30 a.m. wake up is not easy and he just jumps up, grabs Stevie and is on the go. That’s really nice. It’s like relationship currency. He’s just filling up that bank with relationship currency. It’s really quite beautiful. I love it. I owe him a lot.”

The Just Go With It actress and the former tennis pro, 35, welcomed Stevie in January, and also share son Hank, 2. While chatting with Us, Decker admitted that being a mother of two has been “a huge jump.” the Black Forest Gummies ambassador teased to Us on Friday, August 3, at The Standard in New York while attending the Black Forest Gummy Harvest, celebrating the brands use of real ingredients.

“It’s been a huge challenge, but I also jokingly whine all the time about it,” she said. “But it’s the best thing in the world. Every cliché is true where, like, your heart bursts and you’re crying because you get happy. You have happy tears all the time because you love these little creatures. It’s the best thing in the world, it really is.”
