Tanner Tolbert‘s wish has been granted!
After Jade Roper Tolbert and her husband first shared the happy news that they’d be welcoming their second child together, Jade told PEOPLE that Tanner had his heart set on a mini-me — and luckily for him, the couple has just revealed they’re having a son.
“IT’S A BOY!” Jade captioned a pair of joyful photos on Instagram Monday, showing family members spraying the couple with canned blue streamers.
The Bachelor in Paradise alums are also parents to 18-month-old daughter Emerson “Emmy” Avery.

Tanner Tolbert on the Low-Key Plans for His First Father’s Day — Including “Breakfast in Bed”
When the spouses first shared their good news in January, Jade told PEOPLE that they’d be finding out the sex of their baby as soon as possible.
“Tanner is too impatient for it to be a surprise!” she explained with a laugh. “Tanner definitely would still love a boy, but now that we have Emmy, he loves being a girl dad.”
Months earlier, when the couple first shared that they were trying to get pregnant again, Tanner revealed that regardless of whether they ended up having a boy or a girl, he hoped they would welcome a son someday.
“I want to at least have one [son],” Tanner, 31, told PEOPLE last April. “We joke and I tell her that she’s going to have to keep on trying until we get that boy.”

“I mean, if we had four girls … I’m not saying I wouldn’t try again,” he explained, adding that he wants “to experience both” sexes — however, he knows “it’s not [his] body.”
However, while his wife shared that she too wanted to have a son, she was already thinking pink when it came to their next baby.
“Actually, our next one, I would love to have a girl if I could choose,” she said. “I like the idea of sisters, and then a boy.”

16 weeks #bumpdate I am the size of a pickle… and still giving mommy some morning sickness but that’s okay… she will love me anyways… I am 4.5 inches long and weighing 4 ounces… my ears are starting to develop and I think I’m starting to hear my parents talk to me… see you all in August!

The spouses revealed Jade’s pregnancy on Instagram in January, with a sweet set of snapshots taken on the beach and featuring their adorable toddler Emmy.
“Baby #2 is adding to our crew!! We are overjoyed our bundle of love will be joining us in August!” Jade captioned her post. “We’ve been dreaming of you for a while now, and you are already loved beyond imaginable, sweet baby.”
In addition to posting a few proud shots of Jade’s baby bump, the pair have even made their son on the way his own Instagram account, which is already filled with a handful of sweet photos in honor of “Tiny Tolbert.”
