Bindi Irwin Posted the Most Heart-Melting Video of Grace Warrior's First Birthday Celebration

Surrounded by loving relatives and the animals that define her family legacy, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell — daughter of Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell – turned one year old in spectacular fashion. The “Wild One” celebration, held at the Irwin family’s Australia Zoo, was everything you would imagine from the granddaughter of the legendary Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin – and mom Bindi posted an adorable video on her Instagram with the highlights.

“We just can’t take our eyes off her,” beamed Grace’s proud papa Chandler, and honestly? Same. After all, Grace looked absolutely squeeze-worthy in ruffles and sequins befitting of a birthday princess.

There are literally countless precious moments in the video. Grace is too cute for words as she takes tentative steps while grasping her dad’s fingers; opens birthday presents in typical one-year-old fashion; plays a new musical instrument surrounded by doting family members while uncle Robert Irwin determines if she’s worthy of joining his band (spoiler alert: she totally is). And, of course, there’s cake — a two-tiered floral confection with a “Wild One” topper.

But the most heartwarming moment of all is the clip of the family posing with a photo of Grace’s grandpa, the late Steve Irwin, whose presence in big in Grace’s life even though he died in 2006. Bindi’s mother Terri Irwin — affectionately known as Grace’s “Bunny” — posted a sweet picture on Twitter. “I am amazed every day when I see her determination, curiosity, and depth of love.”

The fun first birthday festivities, which were open to the public, included a crocodile feeding, obstacle course, free cupcakes, and a live performance from Bluey and Bingo. The Australia Zoo’s newest playground, aptly named Camp Grace, was also unveiled for the first time.

Of course, no first birthday party would be complete (if you’re Grace Warrior, that is) without a hilariously cute video full of birthday wishes from the animals at the Australia Zoo. “Crikey! Our animals wanted to hop in and say a big happy birthday to our beautiful Grace Warrior!” the post from their official Instagram was captioned.
