Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough Chunks Are REAL, Confirming Nice Things Still Exist in 2018

There’s no denying that deep down, we’re all disgusting monsters. We love @benandjerrys because of how much crap they cram into our ice cream, and we also love eating raw cookie dough by the spoonful. Well, introducing bags of it. Ben & Jerry’s is testing these Cookie Dough Chunks – the same ones they put in their ice cream – at Vermont Scoop Shops. They’re safe to consume raw and if you Vermonsters gobble it up, it may be available online and in other distribution channels later this year. Big responsibility, Vermont. Please support “Oops! All Chunks” so the rest of the country can enjoy too. Thank you to @benandjerrys for including me in this launch; it saves me a lot of gas money on what would have been an inevitable trip to Vermont.

If you’ve ever torn through a carton of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, simply looking for the chunks of doughy goodness, Ben & Jerry’s has some news that’ll make you smile. The ice cream manufacturer recently revealed that it will be testing “just the dough” from its most popular ice cream flavor in bite-size, snackable pieces. Cookie dough diehards can pick from either Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip or Chocolate Chip flavors that are made with pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour — perfectly safe to eat raw.

The only catch? These dough chunks will only be available in limited quantities to customers at the Vermont Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops; although, if enough demand builds up, there’s a chance this product could make its way to other stores. Fingers crossed these tasty treats end up in our freezers soon — this is a need, not just a want.
