Baby Crew's First Easter! Joanna Gaines Shares Adorable New Photos of Her 10-Month-Old Son Playing with Carrots

Baby Crew is celebrating his first Easter like a real bunny!

“I was either going to stick him in a patch of bluebonnets or carrots,” Joanna Gaines shared on her Instagram story, alongside a series of photos of the 10-month-old playing with carrots in a garden.

While at first Crew looked confused to be surrounded by carrots, his confusion soon turned into an adorable smile.

“Carrots for the win!” the mother of five, 41, captioned one of the photos.

Joanna then joked that next year Crew will find himself in the patch of bluebonnets. She also shared some Easter well-wishes to her followers in a post on Instagram.

“Happy Easter from the Farm!” she wrote alongside photos of her husband Chip and their daughters Emmie Kay, 9, and Ella Rose, 12, picking carrots.

Chip and Joanna are also parents to sons Duke, 10, and Drake, 14.

The Fixer Upper couple welcomed their fifth child, son Crew, on June 21, 2018.

Last month, Joanna told PEOPLE about the joys of Crew joining their family.

“A year ago, he wasn’t in our lives. Now you’re like, ‘How?’ ” she mused. “I think what’s so crazy about kids is by the time they hit the ground … it’s almost like we always knew he was coming, and this was his time.”

And although they openly share photos of their family and their “little squishy,” Joanna said she tries to live in the moment with her children, instead of falling victim to the pressure to share everything on social media right away.

“When I’m with my kids and I realize I’m thinking, ‘Oh, this would be a cute moment to post,’ then I realize I’ve gone too far. ‘Cause now I’m not in that moment, now I’m thinking about [posting],” she said. “So I will do this thing where, if I’m taking pictures, I always tell myself I have to wait a while before I post.”
