“Oh, I was sobbing, like, so bad when [our] baby arrived,” Chigvintsev, 38, told Entertainment Tonight on Monday, August 24. “Like, I don’t think people have seen a man sobbing like that. It was awful, but in the most joyful way.”

The pro dancer continued, “I mean, I was picking that baby up and putting him on me. And the baby, like, halfway opened his eyes and it just made me feel like, ‘Oh, my God. This is the most incredible thing.’ This is like the miracle that people talk about, you know? So just that whole experience, I want to relive every single day. Honestly.”

Chigvintsev and the 36-year-old Total Bellas star welcomed their first child on July 31. The birth came a day before Bella’s twin sister, Brie Bella, gave birth to her own son. (Brie, 36, also shares daughter Birdie, 3, with husband Daniel Bryan.)

Days after their son’s arrival, Nikki shared that she plans to prioritize time for herself as a first-time mom. “My goals for year one is to focus on being the best mom that I can be, putting my son first whether it’s ‘How can I keep breastfeeding and is that the best for him?’” she explained on “The Bellas Podcast” on August 5. “Learn about vaccines, schools, what helps him grow, what keeps him safe? Like I am going to make that such a focus in my life.”

The former WWE wrestler continued, “I’m also gonna make sure though, at the same time, that I’m making ‘me time,’ even in the beginning, so I know that I stay a happy, healthy mom. Like, I have goals for wanting to get my body back in a very healthy way and keeping meditation and just like I’ve been doing with him right now in the womb. We keep going with that.”

Nikki later revealed to her Instagram followers on August 14 that she’s “never cried so many happy tears” since welcoming her baby boy and is “blessed” to be a mother.
