A family affair! Anna Duggar (née Keller) and her husband, Josh Duggar, revealed the sex of their sixth child with their kids’ help.
“This is the 6th gender reveal for our little family and it always so exciting!” the 19 Kids and Counting alum, 30, captioned a Thursday, June 20, Instagram video. “Each child God has given us is unique and special — we all look forward to the arrival of our daughter / sister this fall!”
The former reality star went on to add that it was her grandma, Mary Duggar, who inspired her to use a gender reveal cake during her first pregnancy. She died last week of an accidental drowning.
“With Grandma’s passing last week, this 6th gender reveal is a reminder of her love,” Anna wrote. “I’m so glad we were able to share the news of our third little girl with Great-Grandma before she went to be with Jesus!”
In the family footage, one of the Florida native’s sons poured water over a bold beehive, which bubbled over with pink foam. “It’s a girl!” her kids said, jumping up and down in excitement.
Anna and Josh, 31, tied the knot in 2008 and started growing their family one year later. Mackynzie, 9, was born in 2009, followed by Michael, 8, Marcus, 6, Meredith, 3, and Mason, 21 months.
Us Weekly broke the news in April that the former TLC personalities have another baby on the way. “We couldn’t be happier to share with the world that our family is growing by one this Fall,” the couple told Us in a statement at the time. “We continually stand amazed by God’s love, redemption, grace and blessings in our lives. Our entire little family is ecstatic!”
