You can never love your child too much, but Andy Cohen‘s physical affection for his son Benjamin Allen might need to be pulled back just a tad.
“I’m worried I’m gonna squeeze him too hard,” the new dad joked of his 10-week-old baby boy to Jimmy Fallon during a Thursday visit to The Tonight Show.
Fallon ribbed his guest about coming to his apartment building to visit “Ben Cohen,” who’s the star of the family now — but the Watch What Happens Live host wouldn’t have it any other way.
“It’s so great, man,” Cohen, 50, raved of being a first-time father. “It’s been such a journey, and it’s been so interesting trying to figure out how to do everything. [Even just to] take him outside, I’m like, ‘How do I do this?’ “

Cohen admitted he initially would only take Benjamin outdoors in his BABYBJORN because he felt intimidated and “taunted” by his stroller, which sat “in the corner of the room.”
“I thought, ‘I’m going to look so weird pushing a stroller … it just seemed odd to me and I was scared to take it out,” he said, joking that he felt like it would be similar to “pushing a grocery basket down the street” whereas the front carrier was a more “primal” travel option.
“Also, I don’t remember ever seeing dudes pushing strollers. Now, all I see are dudes pushing strollers,” continued the Bravo star.
“My friend Liza sent me a bunch of pictures of, like, Bradley Cooper pushing a stroller and Matt Damon and I was like, ‘Oh, wait, dudes push strollers!’ ” he added.
Cohen’s instinct about how a stroller is similar to a shopping cart turned out to be true for the new father, but now he’s seeing the positive sides of that.
“And now, by the way, I love the stroller so much … I’m like, ‘I can put everything in it,’ ” he said, joking, “Sometimes I take the stroller out without the kid!”
