Amber Rose: The Key to Happy Coparenting With Wiz Khalifa Involves Sex

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa are nailing the coparenting thing. According to Rose, the key to their success comes down to sex — specifically not having it with each other.

“To be honest we don’t sleep together,” Rose, 34, told Us Weekly at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City on Monday, August 20. The model, who shares 5-year-old Sebastian with her rapper ex-husband, noted that getting intimate only causes “fighting” and complicated feelings.

“Move forward and just make it about your child and you’ll be able to be friends,” she explained to Us.

Rose, meanwhile, is happier than ever with her NBA star boyfriend Monte Morris. She and the Denver Nuggets forward were first photographed together in July. “He’s a good guy,” the Amber Rose Show alum gushed to Us. She added that the 23-year-old pursued her “for a long time” before she “finally gave him a chance.”

Rose and Khalifa, 30, were married from 2013 to 2014. She would go on to have brief romances with Dancing With the Stars’ Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Savage 21 following their breakup.

“We both love our son, so it just comes easy,” she told Us in November 2017 of their amicable split. “We don’t live that far away from each other, so anytime Sebastian wants to come back here or go with his dad he can. We FaceTime each other a lot . . . We talk to him every day regardless of where he is.”

The musician recently showed off his $16,000 per month L.A. rental to ArchDigest.com and revealed it was designed with Sebastian in mind. The mansion comes complete with a kids library and in the garage is a collection of kid-size cars including a 57 Impala, Range Rover and Ghost Rolls Royce.
